Completed in 1560, the Sjundby medieval manor is one of Finland's finest stone buildings. Situated close to rapids on the Siuntio River, the manor house was occupied by several noble families in its early years. With the exception of the period of the Porkkala Parenthesis when it was occupied by Soviet troops, it has now been in the possession of the Adlercreutz family for almost three centuries.
