Sjundby
Completed in 1560, the Sjundby medieval manor is one of Finland's finest stone buildings. Situated close to rapids on the Siuntio River, the manor house was occupied by several noble families in its early years. With the exception of the period of the Porkkala Parenthesis when it was occupied by Soviet troops, it has now been in the possession of the Adlercreutz family for almost three centuries.
Sjundby Cellar
A wooden floor which matches the building's medieval construction has been installed in the cellar of the manor house. Tables, benches and lighting follow a similar style. It's a great location for parties and celebrations, and a fascinating tour of the manor house can be arranged.
The Sjundby Granary
Located next to the rapidly-flowing river, the manor's handsome stone granary offers a peaceful and flexible environment for meetings, festive occasions and dining. Up to 40 people can enjoy meals and celebrations, but for meetings and conferences to run smoothly, the ideal group size is 20-30.
